The My Journal card is pinned at the top of the client list. Use it for personal thoughts, reflective practice notes, and anything not tied to a specific client. It is always private and encrypted like everything else.
Select any client from the list to open their process notes pane. Click + New Entry to add a dated entry. Entries auto-save when you click away from the text area. They are private clinical process notes for your own reflective use — they are not official client records.
The calendar shows all days with entries. Purple dots indicate personal journal entries; coloured dots indicate process notes for clients. Click any day to switch to Journal view.
All data is stored locally in your browser using AES-256 encryption. Nothing is transmitted anywhere. Set a passcode in System Configuration to activate encryption. The passcode cannot be recovered if lost — store it safely.
Use Quick Save for browser storage, and Save .JSON for a portable encrypted backup file. Load a backup with Load .JSON. Back up regularly — browser storage can be cleared.
This journal is for your personal use only. You are not obliged to share your personal journal or your personal process notes with anyone at any time.
You may use this journal to record additional process notes relating to client work. These are personal notes for your own reflection and are distinct from official client records. You may choose to share brief client notes stored in the main omdex app with relevant authorities or with clients in the event of a subject access request — but the notes held here are yours alone.
Use client codes only — never store names, addresses or any other identifying information in this app.
Your passcode cannot be recovered if lost — store it safely. You may wish to share it with your clinical supervisor as part of a living will arrangement to protect clients in the event of your unexpected absence. Given the personal nature of this journal, consider carefully what you include in any such arrangement.
